Gray Cabinets-tell me your thoughts
The kitchen in our soon-to-be-home is original from 1990. The cabinets are oak and it has corian counter tops with a navy blue strip running through it. Once we've closed I'll post actual photos but for now i'll stick with the word picture. Despite being dated, the cabinets are actually in excellent condition. The layout of the kitchen is great too and so our original plan was to just have the cabinets professionally painted rather than replacing everything. We had a few companies come out and give estimates and turns out...painting cabinets is expensive! The quotes we received came in at $5,000! After hearing that news, my husband decided to price out new cabinets. We gutted the kitchen in our previous house about two years ago and loved the company we used. We decided to check with them before making a final decision. In the end, we decided to go the brand-new route. It will be a bit more expensive but we will get exactly what we want.
